Hello! Welcome to my blog! This month, the theme is LOVE! Go back to IndigoBlu Blog Challenge Post here!
So I thought I'd share the card I made for my partner!
I've used just 2 stamps today, "Love Is" and "Tattoo Heart". I love all the doodles and scribbles that Kay has drawn to create these beautiful stamps!
I stamped the Love is heart using Stazon in Claret onto a piece of white cardstock. I then made a mask of the heart and got all splashy with my Luscious! I used Rose, Buttercup and Poseidon Blue.
Then I stamped the Tattoo Heart onto a piece of white card and trimmed it down to core image (without all the lovely doodles). I stamped the image again, directly onto my Love is heart and then overlayed my cut out - so you can see the image nice and clearly, but you still get a bit of that lovely grungy doodle. I cut, distressed and then inked up the edges with my Poseidon Blue Luscious and also outlined my centre cutout using a white Posca pen.
Mounted up onto a square card blank and I have my card! (I hope he likes it!!)

Sparkle & Glisten with IndigoBlu
![]() |
| Domino Pendant and Keyring |
For this month's challenge I couldn't resist using some Unicorn Sparkle with the gorgeous IndigoBlu Floral Fantasy papers! In fact, I used the thumbnail images on the cover on the dominoes, because I don't like anything to go to waste!!!
Stick the papers down with your FlitterGlu, leave to dry, then seal using your Slap-It-On. Add the Unicorn Sparkles at this stage!
Once dry, use your Diamond Resin! My dominoes had uneven backs (and knobbly bit!) so I laid them atop two lollypop (or popsicle) sticks, in order to ensure they were even, thereby keeping the resin in place (trust me, the ones I didn't put onto the sticks, all leaked off the edges!!). The resin will take about a day to dry and about 3 days to cure.
I would like to thank Nikki Killinger, our super talented Blog Challenge Leader, for the inspiration here, as she is a wizz with all things Diamond Resin and has the most beautiful domino, and plenty more, jewellery! Just click her name to visit her blog!
Thank you for visiting my blog post, I would love your feedback! As it's the beginning of December and the time of this posting, I would like to wish all our IndigoBlu friends a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year - Happy Holidays to all, and of course, Peace & Harmony.

It's all Monochrome!
Hello and welcome to my little blog post today!
Here I have done a simple card using only one ink, and a few parts of one of the Indigoblu A5 stamp sets, called Take the Time.
I used the cogs to make a diagonal pattern across a 13 x 13cm piece of white card and then stamped this lovely 'big' sentiment and trimmed down, inking the edges of both with the same ink. I added a stop-watch stamp (if I'm honest, it was to cover a little bit of a boo-boo I made!)
To finish off, after gluing all down onto a square card blank, I added a few little gems, in a vintage gold colour tone that I thought matched my vintage sepia ink very nicely!
And that is a VERY simple card indeed!
I hope you like it and have some creating your monochrome pieces for this new challenge.

IndigoBlu Autumn Wildlife
Hello and thank you for visiting my blog today! This month the IndigoBlu Blog Challenge theme is "Autumn Wildlife", so I used the gorgeous owl designed by Gem. The stamp has so much detail that for this card, I simply stamped, coloured with the Luscious and mounted up onto a card!
I also added a little Unicorn Sparkle for extra shine (to go along with the shimmer of the Luscious!).
I do hope you like my card! I know it's a very clean and simple make, but sometimes it's all you need.
Thank you once again for visiting and don't forget to comment!
Peace & Harmony to all,
Maxine

Things to Alter
Hello and welcome to my blog post!
Tonight I share a project working with the gorgeous MDF shapes from Things to Alter.
The pieces are so intricately cut, and great for all sorts of projects. This time, however, I was sent a random selection from Jac, and I put them all together, layering some too, and created this lovely canvas, using black gesso and watered down metallic acrylic paints.
I do hope you like this - please visit the Things to Alter blog to see more fantastic makes!

All Things Bright & Beautiful with IndigoBlu
This month was a bit of a tight schedule for me, what with it being the school summer holidays, and going away camping, and also preparing for my daughter's birthday! I have needed to keep her amused too, and as she will be started 'high school' (they call it a college these days...!), I'm not wanting to do too much to take too much of my time away from her - so I've not been crafting as much as normal!!!
However, I did get a lovely 'objé-art' for you - and here it is!!!
I started with the rather cute little MDF shape and prepped with GeeSso Good in white, and then gave it a coat of Marshmallow, a beautiful pink from the bright set! (the "bright" part!!)
I stamped the gorgeous new Country House (using archival ink, which I heat set once stamped).
I then used the new Luscious powders, having created a watercolour pallet with them (and I must admit that I'm not 100% certain which colours I have, as I had them pre-packaging, but here I've used the blue, pink, bronze and a tiny bit of silver.) I also used the lovely Lime Marmalade on the little topiary's (again, from the Bright set).
Once all dried, I added a couple of beautiful stamped critters! The Dinkie Dragonfly (the top one) and also a butterfly and teenie dragonfly from Grand Tour II (A5 set) and butterfly from Wild Meadow (A5 set). Again, I used Archival and heat set, and then used my Luscious powders in their watercolour format.
I added a sentiment from Chemistry Lab (A5 set), then used a fine wood marker pen to dot around the edges. When all was dry, I used VersaFine ink in Smokey Gray, to stamp with Rain Droplets (A6) and then applied a clear embossing powder, which I heat set, to give the impression that my lovely little house is being rained on! (It seemed fitting, considering the current weather....)
And there you have it!!! My finished project!!! Nothing too technical here, other than ensuring to use the correct ink pads, and remembering to dust with a little talc powder before stamping and embossing. My daughter likes this very much!! I also made her a little T-shirt embellishment, which I'll blog in a day or two (once my sewing machine is back up and running!).
Thank you for visiting my blog, please do leave a comment and do check out all the gorgeous inspiration from all the lovely talented ladies on the blog challenge! (why not go visit those who enter the blog too! There are lots of wonderful entries each month!!!).

IndigoBlu Summer Floral
Hello IndigoBlu fans and welcome to my little blog page.
The theme this month for the IndigoBlu Blog Challenge is Summer Florals!!! So I present to you my little take on the theme with this little Summer Floral Rusted Box!
I have used a little cardboard box, that I picked up at our local recycling centre, and covered it with the white GeeSso Good gesso, then I followed with the spring paint set (IndigoBlu Acrylics Grandma's Teacup, Townhouse Teal & Banana Custard). Once dried, I gave the box a watered down coating with Kingfisher Blue.
I then used Fine Modelling Paste to create rough edges and then coated using the Autumn set (IndigoBlu Acrylics Hot Cocoa, Burning Bonfire & Postbox Red).
After that, I stamped the small flowers from the Giant Poppy stamp set, and covered a household tissue (that one would blow one's nose with)...using Vintage Sepia Versafine. which I then applied on both the lid and base of the box using Slap it On. I coloured this in with a combination of the Burning Bonfire and Postbox Red once it had dried.
I stamped the sentiment from the Nature I stamp set and cut all the words up. I edged with watered down Hot Cocoa on a sponge and glued to the lid, along with some paper flowers, which I very roughly painted by dipping into some watered down Kingfisher Blue (IndigoBlu metallic acrylic).
A final quick watered down brush over with the Kingfisher Blue, and a sprinkling of glitter on the flowers and sentiment, and the box was complete!
The 'spiderweb' on the flowers is just the stringy bits from sticking down the flowers with the hot glue gun - I left them as I rather liked the look (and my garden if FULL on spider webs right now!!)

Sadness Walls Journal Page
Hello and thank you for visiting my blog, and my piece for the Mausoleum of the Damned challenge this month.
I've picked this unusual image from Ike's Art - I like it, because it reminds me of many things and I feel it is very apt at this time. I've used blue as my colour, and high lighted the face using Glossy Accents.
The quote, by Jim Rohn, reads:
"The walls we build around us to keep SADNESS out.....Also keeps out the JOY...."

Dark Attic Challenges: Unicorn
Here is a beautiful little Unicorn by Ppinky Dolls.
This is printed out on regular photocopy paper - not what I'd usually use, so I used my colour pencils - well it worked a treat, as you can see!!! I finished off by using a few distress inks around the edges and stamped a little 'distress/texture' to give it depth. This lovely little sentiment really worked with the image, I thought. I mounted this onto a navy cardstock and popped on an A5 card!
Such beautiful images from Ppinky Dolls, can't wait to play with more.....(trotting off to colour more!)
Thank you for stopping by! Please feel free to comment and don't forget to enter into the challenge back over at The Dark Attic Challenges Blog!!!

All your dreams come true with IndigoBlu
Thank you for visiting my blog today!! This is an inspirational design for the "All your dreams come true" blog challenge with IndigoBlu. I hope you like it!
This month, I have taken a little wooden box (I do love to alter a box) and turned it into a little trunk.
This was a little plywood chest from Efco (via a craft shop) and I've had it for rather a long time.
I love working with the IndigoBlu paints, and I have a lovely chest that I keep all my essential oils in, so I thought that I would mimic that with this chest.
First, I painted it all over with the delicious Hot Cocoa acrylic paint. I took the Goldfinger metallic acrylic paint and watered it down (on my craft mat). I then took a piece of Phat Foam and sponged the paint onto over the chest (once it was dry).
I then took a piece of Kraft Card - this one was 8x8. I painted it over completely with the black Gee-Sso Good (I cannot live without this stuff!!) and once dried, used the Goldfinger once again, only this time I did not water it down, I 'dry-brushed' it over the card, almost stippled it, to create a lovely mottled look.
I cut this down into thin strips and distressed the edges - I used this neat little Distress Tool from IndigoBlu, it's much safer and easy to use, but you could also use scissor edges. (also, I'd do this outside as it creates a lot of paper-fluff!!! Thankfully we've had sunny weather this week!)
I used these to create the strips of 'metal' that are on a treasure chest! They could be either metal or leather straps, but really they are just card! As this is my first attempt at sticking them down, I think I could have done a better job, but I'm still pleased with the results.
I will finish the chest with little embellishments made with UTEE using my Melt Pot and a Plaid mould set (Ornaments) - I used 28 all in all, of the the same little one! I very lightly brushed over with a little bit of the Goldfinger paint, and I mean with a very dry brush, to get much the same effect as gilding wax.
Now to decorate the inside!!! I want to use it, but I also want to create a dream-like quality to the inside of it. So many fabulous stamps to choose from at IndigoBlu!!! I went with Sarah's Choice and Boadicea They have lots of texture and also lovely words.
I painted the inside with my black Gee-Ssoo Good. I will be covering up areas with paper, but the glue will adhere better to the painted surface than directly to the wood. I decorated my paper using a selection of the stamps from the two sets, with Vintage Sepia versafine and also Goldfinger paint, for the base and inside lid, but left the edges black.
These little glass bottles are super cute and I dry brushed/dabbed the Goldfinger paint over them, so they are still transparent - and added contents using glamour dust, flower soft, bead soup, mica flakes and mega flake, and labelled them. (Think of the Pensieve in Harry Potter!!. I used some Velour Dots to stick the bottles into the lid - so that I can still use the contents if needed! (plus I've run out of glue sticks for the hot glue gun!!)
I absolutely love what I've done, and really pleased with it, and I can tell it's something that I may well add to in future too, although I am not sure I will use the box other than for decoration. It can be my dream box, where I keep my dream journal. Don't forget that the true treasure is what is inside us, our hopes and dreams.

Dark Attic Witch
Part of the Dark Attic Challenges! This lovely digital image from Delicious Doodles called Gothic Deadly Night Shade - isn't she beautiful?! (find her and many others at this link).
This beautiful digital stamp lent itself very well to this book I found in a charity shop. I decided to add it as my first page - stuck down with my colall all purpose glue. It was a bit tricksy getting the paper around the string, but all in all I think it looks rather wonderful!! I might distress the edges with a little distress tool or scissors, but I'm undecided yet!!!
She's coloured in with Promarkers and then cut down to fit into the book. Then I used Walnut Stain Distress Ink pad to darken around the edges - it really frames the page!

Spring is in the Air with IndigoBlu
Hello and thank you for visiting my blog from the IndigoBlu Blog Challenge!
I've used an A4 folder that I bought cheap from a supermarket. The cover is a white with various pastel stripes on it - it's not to my taste, so I decided to cover it!
I have some napkins I'm not keen on, so I separated the layers (in this case 3 ply) and scrunched them up ready to stick to the folder, using my IndigoBlu Slap-It-On! As the folder originally had a shiny gloss surface, the glue took a while longer than normal to dry. Once dry, a coat of Gee-Sso Good! (White) and then after that dried, a coat of Pantry White.
I left it to dry and then attacked with lots of spring colour paints, watered down in spritz bottles. All paints used are IndigoBlu paints, Banana Custard, Townhouse Teal, Wimberry Pie, Aladdin, Cinderella & Emerald City. After I'd left that to dry, not all paints had dried fully, I watered down an little Gee-Sso Good White and gave the whole folder a white wash to soften the background colours and blend. This works best if you paint in one direction only, I chose diagonally (not Diagon Alley, though that would have been cool!!!)
I took this lovely stamp of Elizabeth Bennet from the Mr Darcy stamp set, and cut her down to size to fit into this lovely frame, which I painted with Townhouse Teal.
I used a little watered down paint to colour the image a little and inked the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.
Gave the frame and the folder a once over with the Goldfinger Metallic paint using dry brush method and lightly going over to just catch edges/raised areas.
I decided then to add more texture by using the Texture Stencil with some lovely texture paste.
I stamped a selection of stamps onto tissue using Smokey Grey Versafine ink and then stuck them on the folder using my Slap-it-on. I applied a spritz of watered down Snow White Metallic paint randomly, but mostly partly on the the bits I'd just stamped. I used my finger to just gently rub/smear the spritz's about, so they didn't obscure the stamped images, or weren't too thick a layer of paint.
After that, I stamped up a butterfly, from the Wild meadow set of stamps onto the IndigoBlu white stamping paper, and cut to size, distressed using Walnut stain distress ink, and also a little watered down Townhouse Teal paint. I ruffed up the edges with a little distress tool and inked again on the edges with the distress ink.
I did the same for the "BEAUTY" sentiment, from the Words Block #1 by Mike Deakin, but without the ruffing of the edges.
A few bits of odds and ends of lace and old curtains, one of which I dipped into watered down TownHouse Teal and then dried with my heat tool to help heat set it (as I'd watered down the paint, it will no longer be a full fabric paint, but for the purposes of this, as I will not be washing it, it works really well to match to the artwork).
And here you go! The completed cover for my folder. Spring Is In The Air - well, I've picked the colours that to me are spring like, and added birds and butterflies! I hope you like it!

IndigoBlu: Yellow, Pink and Green
It's that time of the month again - the good one I mean, with the IndigoBlu Blog Challenge!!!! When it comes to colour, it's a good job to have it as a theme: there are so many gorgeous colours from the IndigoBlu Acrylic paint range, that I'd be hard pressed to choose !!!
So here we have some soft pastel colours for this challenge, using Peppermint Tea, Iced Gem and Banana Custard.
I've got one of the new Stamp sets - and chose the Word Blocks designed by Mike Deakin. This is an A5 set, but it contains 6 separate stamps. I love the words, it's very much something I will use time and again! I've also used an older A5 stamp set, that works very well with the new Sarah's Choice.
(photo of new stamps with the paints)
I decided to go with a lovely flat canvas as a base - I applied white GeesSo-Good Gesso. Added some texutre using the fine Pigment Modelling paste (texture paste) along with the IndigoBlu texture stencil.
Once dry, I added my paints and then chose the photo of the little girl holding flowers from the Lost Family set A6 set of gorgeous card stacks! I had little lilac flowers, which I coloured with the Banana Custard paint.
I painted some white card for my sentiments - I used both Banana Custard (for the individual words) and Iced Gem (for the large LOVE sentiment), using Vintage Sepia VersaFine ink.
I then used Yorkshire Dales Mega Flake around the edges of the photo and sentiments, and also the tag, which I stamped using the hessian stamp from Sarah's Choice.
The lace was from a big stash of scrap materials a friend gave me - and this one suited the image perfectly! It was already this colour!!!
Once I'd glued everything down, I went a little wild and added an actual rose, it was from my partner at Valentine's and I had left them to dry on the window sill, so thought I'd see how long it lasts on my canvas!!!
I hope you like it! I'm pleased with the results and I hope you feel like having a play with textures and mixed media projects, it's super fun!

I first gave the box a coat of white GeeSso Good Gesso, then a coat of Postbox Red.
I then dry-brushed Goldfinger over the red.
I applied a thin coat of watered down white GeeSso to a sheet 6x6 paper from the Fontastic Ephemera pack.
I took the Peony Posey A6 stamp and stamped this to the middle (using three little VersaFine ink pads) and, once dry, glued to the lid with my Slap It On glue! Once the glue was dry I creased and then sanded the edges of the paper away - and then applied a layer of Slap It On!

All that Sparkles
As always, I had lots of fun making this!! I had a few issues getting this blog post ready in time, so I'm adding my inspiration mid-month! I hope you like! I know it's no longer Christmas, but I've still got my decorations up!
This rather cute little creation uses a Dinkie stamp called Snowflake Bauble and is hopefully still available to buy on the IndigoBlu website! I know the stamps have been selling like hotcakes and is the only one left at the time of writing this blog post.....
I used the Copper Kettle Mega Flake, and distressed the edges with distress ink once I'd cut to size. I made to the same (one for each side).
It's very easy to remove the base of the Glitter Globe and I popped my two images in the middle section - it comes with a little foam 'buffer'.
Then just shake it up and watch it 'glitter'! It sure sparkles!!!!!
