My Daughter, the Poet

My lovely 6 year old girl wrote me a poem over the weekend. I was blown away by how lovely it is and wanted to share. I will upload a photo of the original a little later, but will type with correct spellings, as words are written phonetically.

The lullaby in the breeze "woooooooo"*
Tweet, crunch, tick all around,
Tip tap tick-a-ty tap,
You can hear it every autumn.

She wrote this as a gift for me, and I have to say, I love it.

Remember November

November already! Yikes, and I've been a very naughty girl and not written anything much - however, there is not much to say! It's been mighty busy mothering my girl, soothing her fever, getting to do homework, man-flu other half, his family visiting, half term, halloween....urm, where do I fit in stuff! I shall tell you that leaves me fitting things in in-between times!
And I need to go on the school run soon, having been working on a flyer this day. And trying to get up to date also with this and that....

A weekend of fireworks, more fireworks/birthday/annivesary party, a child's party.... oh actually that's it, other than the usual get all things ready for Monday again :-)
