Big Craft Weekend!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of being part of the Craft Weekend demo's at Huntingdon Garden & Leisure. I was very please to share my love of wire work jewellery and my pieces were all very popular!

I was very happily playing with wire, creating rings, little Christmas decorations and a bib style necklace. I wish I'd had the chance to take photos - it was so so busy! Everyone wanted to buy the rings I'd made, if not they were eager to learn how to make them and happily bought some wire to try themselves!! I have already seen one ladies first attempt, so so good!!! So I'm very much looking forward to seeing how the ladies did!

I was joined by lots of fabulous demonstrators: Indigo Blu, Creative Expressions, Crafter's Companion, Docrafts, Decopatch, Trimcrafts, Efco and also a felting and polymer clay demo.

Here are some pendants I made using wire and beautiful gemstone cabachons (here we have Turquoise Magnasite, Poppy Jasper and Blue Goldstone).

This week has been incredibly busy!! I have been very busy making jewellery for people, and also for all the Christmas Fayres and stalls happening over November/December time!

Of course, in true Maxine style, not only am I make jewellery, I'm design logos, and have some Christmas cards to make - I bought a new stamp....I'm looking forward to using this beautiful angel to make some lovely Christmas cards for my craft stalls!!

I have some gilding flakes that will look angelic as a very elegant topper!

Below are a few more makes - the first is made with Labradorite chips and looks absolutely stunning - you can just not capture all the colours you get from the stones - beautiful!  The second is as yet unfinished piece, as debating either a pendant or a brooch. It uses Labradorite and Moonstone.

Thank you for visiting my blog and I hope you come back again,

Peace & harmony,
Maxine x
