So here we have some soft pastel colours for this challenge, using Peppermint Tea, Iced Gem and Banana Custard.
I've got one of the new Stamp sets - and chose the Word Blocks designed by Mike Deakin. This is an A5 set, but it contains 6 separate stamps. I love the words, it's very much something I will use time and again! I've also used an older A5 stamp set, that works very well with the new Sarah's Choice.

I decided to go with a lovely flat canvas as a base - I applied white GeesSo-Good Gesso. Added some texutre using the fine Pigment Modelling paste (texture paste) along with the IndigoBlu texture stencil.
Once dry, I added my paints and then chose the photo of the little girl holding flowers from the Lost Family set A6 set of gorgeous card stacks! I had little lilac flowers, which I coloured with the Banana Custard paint.
I painted some white card for my sentiments - I used both Banana Custard (for the individual words) and Iced Gem (for the large LOVE sentiment), using Vintage Sepia VersaFine ink.
I then used Yorkshire Dales Mega Flake around the edges of the photo and sentiments, and also the tag, which I stamped using the hessian stamp from Sarah's Choice.
The lace was from a big stash of scrap materials a friend gave me - and this one suited the image perfectly! It was already this colour!!!
Once I'd glued everything down, I went a little wild and added an actual rose, it was from my partner at Valentine's and I had left them to dry on the window sill, so thought I'd see how long it lasts on my canvas!!!
I hope you like it! I'm pleased with the results and I hope you feel like having a play with textures and mixed media projects, it's super fun!
