To a very quick recap and also, just a hello to touch base as I've been so quite on my blog...
Firstly, here is my inspiration piece for the IndigoBlu Blog Challenge!!! Magical Masking! Very simply, I used paper to mask areas and used distress inks to create the lovely almost rainbow effect.
I chose poppies, for obvious reasons - this is from the IndigoBlu Poppy Meadow set.
The wording is from the Boudicca set.
I hope you like!
I went to a really large 'shop' in Snetterton and it has a small little craft area - well, I saw this lovely Graphic45 pad, and couldn't resist....it will sit with my other Graphic 45 pads, not being used as it's so nice, I daren't!!!
And lastly, for now, here is my sweet angel - I cut her hair!!! it's sad, BUT I think she looks super cute and the aim of the game is for her to get used to brushing her own hair - she may not look it, but she's 9. She's dinkie like me (all the best things come in small packages, I was always told, and they were right!!!)
So there you go.... I'm off to get ready to go to the NEC - quick shower, dress and drive over!! Not sure how long it will take so hoping to head off nice and early....so I'd better go!
Have fun everyone! Maybe see you there!!!!
Peace & harmony xx
Gorgeous card Maxine, and I love the new haircut, talk about "mini me"! You are peas in a pod. Hope you are having a fab day at the NEC. Elizabeth x
